To coincide with Engineers Week, the NUI Galway College of Engineering & Informatics invited local students to attend an afternoon of activities to highlight the many career choices available in engineering. This event was also part of a celebration of the naming of the Engineering Building after Alice Perry (1885 – 1969), the first female engineering graduate anywhere in the British Isles. Alice graduated from NUI Galway in 1906. Some of our Senior Students attended to learn more about Engineering.
